Vision and Mission of CBMC

The 10th National Prayer Dinner was successfully held on Friday, March 5th,2010 at Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku Tokyo with some 500 participants from various fields including 250 pastors and their wives who are leading Japanese Christian Comunity, and other 250 prayers who are legislators and leaders of Christian organizations. (See National Prayer Dinner Meeting in the Menu for more details) We are so grateful because without the cooperation of many Christians and churches like you, we couldn't have held this wonderful event.

Wherever we are located, Christians have great responsibility to pray for the nation and the world in the name of Jesus, and the Lord has blessed CBMC which is a businessman Christian group from various denominations for 10 years. We CBMC member have learned that our first priority is to pray and ask for God's guidance and know what to do next.

CBMC is doing not only National Prayer Dinner Meeting but also encouraging business and professional leaders to share the Good News with others in the workplace. In order to be a good servant of the Lord, we hope to be prepared ourselves first to be able to have clearer vision and mission of the Lord.

CBMC Japan has branch offices in Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Kobe and each one has been mainly serving in the local, however we want to emphasize this new year to have a harmony in prayer and in making our vision and mission clearer in Jesus.

The Bible tells us, "Whatever you do, do your work as for the Lord". (Colossians 3:23)

We are happy to announce that the 11th National Prayer Dinner in Japan will be held on March 11th Fri. 2011. Please continue to pray for this event will be a part of God's mighty revival work in Japan and your attendance is most welcome.

Greeting message from National Chairman of CBMC International Japan

Koji Soma
National Chairman
CBMC International Japan

In 1974 the 1st Asian CBMC Convention was held in Korea. During this convention a few attendees experienced a deep spiritual recognition that something had to be done in Japan. Japan was well known as a economic power. They felt that this was not only what Japan needed to be known for, but also felt that the nation needed to be known for Christian principles being used in day to day business. Based on this vision, CMBC Japan was established.

Following this event in Korea, the CBMC Asia conventions have since been organized on a bi-annual and the 2nd, the 5th, the 9th and the 14th ones were hosted in Japan.

Our vision is to spread the word of God among business leaders and so bring positive influence to the Japanese social structure.
